Winery information
Located in Alfaro (La Rioja-Spain)
The wines of Finca Egomei arise from an ideal vineyard set for the production of its wines, where the winery is located in the center and receives all the fruits of the adjoining vineyards, avoiding the excessive manipulation of the fruit in the harvesting process to obtain the exquisiteness these wines made in Alfaro (La Rioja).
Finca Egomei is one of the few wineries that wash their grapes to achieve a more robust and healthy wine. The greaps that do not meet the required quality are removed in a manual selection, after which they are transferred to deposits where the fermentation is controlled.
After the harvest and subsequent selection of the appropriate clusters, Finca Egomei wines are transferred to Allier French oak barrels where they will evolve sufficiently to achieve the balance between the fruit and the complexity that one wishes to achieve.
