EL PARTISANO Tempranillo
To speak of Bodegas Partisano is to speak of wildlife, of a close communion of nature in its purest form. Placing it the vine in the center of a universe governed only by the laws of the earth. All the fauna of the environment, insects, plants and the climate itself, form a perfect choreography, living in harmony in the heart of this vineyard.
At Bodegas Partisano they form a family-oriented team, who conceive wine production as a philosophy of life. As always happens behind any team, there is an innovative person who is committed to the vineyard. This is Geintza Bastegieta, the man who has known how to create and develop the Partisano brand.
The mission in each plot is to stimulate the physiology of the plant and its natural resistance within a unique ecosystem, preserved with passion and humility. Through innovative organic farming, they have the deep conviction that to make an expressive wine, the flavor of the grape must reveal the quintessence of its aromas and the greatness of its origins.
The diversity of the soils and their peculiarities encourages them to develop a very specific work and an exclusive dedication. The plot located at 570 meters above sea level, is made up of a special calcareous clay soil that gives the wine a very unique acidity, only present in these high territories of La Rioja Alavesa.
PRODUCTION
Vineyards between 80-85 years old offer productions of low quantities but with high quality grapes. The harvest of each plot is treated in separate tanks to initially maintain the identity of the terroir on which the grapes ripen. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks fitted with integrated heating and cooling rings. Production of 4,000 bottles.
