HARVEST
This has been a spectacularly good year, starting off ordinarily enough with the snow and cold weather typical of winter in Soria, followed by spring frosts at the start of the growing cycle which did no damage at all to the vines. In June, however, there was a terrible hailstorm that caused havoc for us and the plants. Production was lowered as a result, but the plants that we were able to recover made a remarkable comeback thanks to a hot summer that encouraged optimal levels of maturity. The harvest began on the 8th of October.
TASTING NOTES
Elegant, balanced and full-bodied… it’s captivating! Its rich fruity flavours are fused with its smooth tannins in perfect equilibrium. It has volume, life and sheer joy.
CONSUMPTION
La Loba can either be enjoyed right now or kept for several years, because La Loba will continue to surprise you in the future. There is staying power in these vines. They may need to breathe a little to develop their full structure and volume. Enjoy!
