LA VEJERA Gil Berzal
A historic plot from 1910 that appears mid-slope to the east, composed of important limestone and clay, on boulder bedrock. This composition offers adequate water regulation during the vegetative cycle of the vine.
ELABORATION
Spontaneous fermentation in 500 liter barrels. It spends 12 months in French oak barrels, after malolactic fermentation. It is bottled without any aggressive process, just a slight prefiguration to bring out all its personality.
TASTING NOTES
He opens timidly, as if saving his most intimate secrets for last. Fresh accords of sour and ripe cherries. Perfume in several layers of violets and rose petals. Forest brightness and evocative forest fruits with a sweet and creamy nuance. Sober, pure transparency, flourishing complexity in its journey. Silky palate with harmonious tannins. Fresh, long, citrus and tense. Sensuality and finesse.
