Lacort Crianza 2014

At the beginning of the XX century Mariano J.Lacort founded Bodegas Lacort in the neighborhood of Haro station. In 1951 the wineries were acquired by Federico Paternina.

Lacort Crianza is born as a tribute to one of the drivers of modern Riojan viticulture. The Lacort Crianza is made with grapes from vineyards over 25 years, hence its special characteristics, with body and balanced.

BREEDING
12 months in American oak barrels.

TASTING NOTES
Excellent cherry colored wine with beautiful ruby tones. The nose is notable for its aromas of cherries, currants and wood. Velvety and tasty in the mouth, with a perfect integration of the fruit and the wood. A very persistent wine.

GRAPES
85% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha and 5% Mazuelo.

MARRIAGE
Lacort Crianza is ideal for accompanying red meats and roasted meats, such as lamb. House very well with cured cheeses.
