OTTO Rosé
The name
Otto is the name of a ‘dancing Nietzsche’, a wine that is neither white nor red, neither male nor female, it is a play on a good-toned rosé wine.
Varieties
60% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha, 10% Graciano, 10% Viura and 10% Mazuelo
Production
1,100 bottles of 0.75 cl.
Vineyards
Very old vineyards from Rioja Alavesa with altitudes of 600 meters, on clay-calcareous soils with yields of around 3,000 kg per hectare.
Vinification
Fermentation with indigenous yeasts in foudres and subsequent aging in used 500-liter French oak barrels, where malolactic fermentation takes place. Subsequent aging for 10 months in the same barrels.
Tasting Notes
On the nose, aromas of sweets, ripe red fruits and scrubland. In the mouth it does not leave you indifferent, with a freshness and a sensational length with good acidity that makes you repeat.
