The K5 Winery is located in the municipality of Aia, 9 km. from Zarautz, in a wonderful enclave located 300 meters above sea level, surrounded by 15 hectares. spectacular vineyard slopes and a forest of chestnut, oak and beech.
The building designed by the architects Alonso & Balaguer has sober lines, elegant and functional, perfectly integrated into the landscape, and respectful of the environment. From here you can see the Cantabrian Sea: on one side the Ratón de Getaria and on the other the mouth of the fishing port of Orio.

The Hondarribi Zuri is trellised. The vineyards, 100% Hondarrabi Zuri, grow in exclusive soil and climate conditions. The soil is granite with slate schists that provide mineral and elegant notes. The climate marks a great Atlantic character, based on the influence of the Cantabrian Sea and the altitude of the farm, which provides greater thermal amplitudes, better aeration and greater freshness. In order to achieve the maximum concentration of aromas and flavors, the production of grapes per vine is low, with average yields between 1.5 and 2.0 kg. All of this contributes an unprecedented personality to the “K5” and the “K Pilota” that distinguishes them from any other wine.
Soil with undulating orography formed by highly eroded gray schists of slate and granite, with a medium organic content.
The grapes are selected by hand, go to the pre-fermentation maceration phase and the final fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, using exclusively native yeasts from the flower must.
Txakoli K5 is aged for 11 months on its lees in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures.
Clean, crystalline and bright wine, pale yellow in color with green flashes. On the nose it is intense with hints of pippin apple and mineral notes derived from the slate and granite soil. In the mouth it has a great volume that makes it a round wine, with an Atlantic and fresh character. Its acidity allows the Txakoli K5 to be stored for up to 10 years.
Ideal for seafood, fish, sushi, foie gras and white meat.
