Txakoli Marko Terlegiz is made in Kortezubi, a town near Gernika, it was first released on the market in 1999. ELABORATION
The Txakoli Marko Terlegiz fermented in foudre and later aged for 6 months with its lees. It is made with Hondarrabi Zuri Zerratia, Hondarrabi Zuri, Izkiota Txikia grapes
VINEYARD
The vineyards are located in Kortezubi, a small town in Vizcaya near the coast, famous for its prehistoric caves, a Unesco heritage site. Clay-calcareous vineyard soil.
TASTING NOTES
The Txakoli Marko Terlegiz is fresh and aromatic. On the nose, the fusion of citrus notes with the typical floral aromas of the variety stands out. On the palate it is agile and with good structure.
THE NAME
The Basques have great respect for nature and for the farmhouse in which they live, to which they give their name. Terlegiz is the name of the neighborhood in the municipality of Kortezubi where Oxer’s father was born, which is surrounded by the vineyard used for this Txakoli.
