Vallsanzo Reserva
Unique vineyard located in the heart of the Ribera del Duero at 900 meters altitude. Vineyard with clay-limestone soils, with a good páramo with vines over 60 years old.
ELABORATION
The cryomaceration prior to alcoholic fermentation for about 5 days. The fermentation is done with native yeasts. After fermentation for 21 days, and after the malolactic fermentation, it passes to 20% French, 30% Spanish and 50% Hungarian-Romanian oak barrels. Aged for 24 months in the barrel and 18 months in the bottle.
TASTING NOTES
Intense red color with violet nuances. Elegant, noble tannins. Very balanced due to time in bottle. Tasty on the palate, very integrated flavors and good texture. Persistent and refined aftertaste.
PAIRING
The reserve Vallsanzo is ideal with roasted lamb and roasted meats in general.
