Vina Coqueta 2008
The grapes to make this wine come from the Finca La Coqueta, near Samaniego. The altitude and orientation of the farm give the grapes a very particular ripening point.The strict grape selection processes are also applied for the elaboration of this wine.
ELABORATION
It is done manually in boxes of 12 kg. Before fermentation, the grapes remain for 24 hours at a controlled temperature of 4-6 ° in the cold room. In table is made the minute manual selection of the grape for the separation of the shoulders and tips of the clusters. To elaborate the Vina Coqueta wine, only the destemmed shoulders are used. The fermentation takes place in oak tubs of 7,000 liters and stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation takes place in new barrels.

90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano
BREEDING
26 months in new oak barrels, 85% French and 15% American.
TASTING NOTE
Pleasant cherry color, with red trim and ruby finish. Its intensity is perceived in the nose, fruit preserves, nuts and caramel. Pass through dense and wide mouth, fine tannins and notes of toast and spices.
MARRIAGE
Tapas and starters, sausages, roasted red meats, big game and cured cheeses.
