From the mouth of the river Umia in Pontevedra do not arrive the wines of Mar de Frades, with 2 albariños of the highest quality, the Sea of Frades 2015 and Finca Valiñas 2014, this last one has just obtained the gold medal Bacchus, along with others 15 Spanish wines from a total of 18 winners. The Spanish wine sector is being lucky to hoard 83% of the winning wines.
The Mar of Frades 2015 brings us its undeniable Atlantic character, with its fresh salinity accompanied by mineral deities with balsamic notes of eucalyptus and wild flowers.
The Finca Valiñas 2014 Albariño is elaborated with vineyards plots of more than 30 years conlindantes to the wineries. It has a structure and creamy, with wide and powerful passage through the mouth, incorporating salty touches characteristic of the area. Its mellow character and fresh acidity auguran a great evolution in the next years.
The label of the Mar of Frades and Finca Valiñas will indicate when the wine is at the right temperature for consumption: a blue boat will appear on the waves of the logo when the wine is at a temperature below 11ºC.
