Vina Real Reserve
In 1920 it launched on the market the first wines “Vina Real”, where clearly the personality, character and elegance of Rioja Alavesa with the roundness and balance are a perfect breeding conjuntaba.
It corresponds to a selection of the best grapes harvested manually in Rioja Alavesa. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature with a long maceration determined by tastings and daily analysis. After the malolactic fermentation takes place wine aging in barrels of American and French oak for 22 months, raising to be completed in the bottle before its release.
The health of the grapes harvested has been excellent. The first quarter was dry, but during March and April there was abundant rainfall which provided a reserve above the water last year. The month of August, as the first half of September were very hot which, along with the numerous summer storms, accelerated maturation with the consequent advance of the start of harvest.
Ruby red, deep shades of cherry pillory, clean, good intensity on the nose, where the spicy aromas of oak, vanilla, still mixed with memories of tempranillo varietal, floral, red fruit, blackberry bramble and aftertaste with Grenache mature. The palate is a, wide and long, warm wine of good acidity and noble tannin. Its structured body wishes him a long life in proper storage conditions but can also accompany and enhance and fine cuisine.
