Imperial Reserve
Booking 24 months in oak and 36 months in bottle before its release. Selection of the best grapes harvested manually in our payments Rioja Alta. After fermentation, the wine is kept in vats few days, reaching the mashing process to obtain the desired color and structure. Subsequent fermentation, that is, the step of malic acid to lactic takes place in barrel producing a refined wine, leaving it in its proper acidity. This wine was aged in French and American oak before being clarified and bottled traditionally. Once in the bottle, resting in our drafts under conditions of humidity and temperature suitable completing its aging to the optimum time of consumption.
Tasting notes
High layer of cherry color with bright red hues. The nose protruding aromas of berries and licorice perfectly balanced with spicy notes of thyme, rosemary, clove and pure sheet coming from its time in oak. It expresses its elegance on the palate due to a nice tannin that gives roundness and freshness. It is a long and comprehensive wine retronasal a very interesting complexity.
