Jesús Madrazo Selección Rioja
Jesús Madrazo was appointed technical director of vineyards at CONTINO (Laserna) in April 1999, where he remained in charge for 18 years creating prestigious wines such as Viña del Olivo and rescuing the first monovarietal GRACIANO from Riojan oblivion.
After long years being the soul of Viñedos del Contino, Jesús Madrazo decided to undertake his personal project in 2017. To this end, one of the most important figures in Riojan oenology, was soon asked by multiple wineries to advise them. This allows him to continue and expand what he was already doing at Viñedos del Contino, that is, his own selection of grapes to make extraordinary wines that he baptizes with his name as a guarantee of quality.
