Txakoli Ola Oeste
From the heart of the Urdaibai biosphere reserve, in Muxika (Bizkaia), Jose Angel offers us txakolis made in silence, which only make noise when they enter our mouths. A place 200 meters above sea level, on the slopes of Mount Oiz and with views to the island of Izaro in Mundaka.
VINEYARD
Designation of Origin Bizkaiko Txakolina located in Muxika-Urdaibai-Biosphere Reserve. Average altitude of 200 meters above sea level Vineyard conduction on trellises with double Guyot Control of nutrients at substrate level. Prune in green. Certificate in Integrated Production Techniques.
ELABORATION
Harvested by hand in boxes. Manual selection of bunches. Vatting with whole grapes in an inert atmosphere Selection of free run juice. End of fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 12o C. Light clarification. smooth filtration
TASTING NOTES
The Ola Oeste Txakoli is straw yellow in color, pineapple, honey, banana, volume and silky on the palate with a slightly bitter finish.
