Elaboration

Wine made from grapes from the Rioja Alavesa area harvested and processed manually in Viña Real. The destemmed grapes were placed in stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation takes place for 10-12 days with temperature control between 26-28 º C. The wine after malolactic fermentation happens to French oak barrels where it remains and American 13 – 14 months. The wine is racked barrel while in every 5-6 months to encourage proper ripening and organoleptic evolution.

Tasting notes

Wine of the middle layer, glossy and vivid red garnet with flashes of violet. Intense aromas of red fruits (raspberry, blackberry) with predominant notes of oak woods. Noteworthy are his memories of sweet spice, toast and balsamic. His mouth is structured round with a good fit between fruit and oak. The aftertaste is large, medium persistence in post-taste with well balanced tannins and fine. His time in bottle ends up round the character of this wine from Rioja Alava..
