VARIETY
Tempranillo 90%. and 10% Graciano and Mazuelo

Vineyards
Over 60 years old, located in Rioja Alta, in the towns of Ábalos (Caramonte) and Labastida (Carrapaciña). In Ábalos, sandy soils decomposed from bedrock; in Labastida, early ripening with sandy and alluvial soils.

ELABORATION
Selection of grapes from old vineyards with specific characteristics of acidity and pH. Cold maceration for 2 days and controlled fermentation for 8 days. After 9 days in contact with the skins. Malolactic in concrete tanks. Aged for 30 months in American oak and 48 months in bottle

TASTING NOTES
Garnet red of medium high intensity. Bright and in excellent condition. Ripe fruit, blackberries, plums, hints of cherry. Spices and aromatic. Presence of select and careful barrel. Sweet notes, pastries and nougat combined with roasted and cocoa. Long, persistent and with volume. Presence of acidity and tamed tannin. A wine in perfect condition, which will evolve in the bottle.

SERVICE AND PAIRING
Consumption temperature between 17ºC and 18ºC.
The Ramón Bilbao Gran Reserva is the perfect accompaniment to red meats, cured cheeses, barbecues and game meat.
