Tobelos Garnacha
The winery is located in Briñas, 2 km from Haro, in one of the areas with the greatest wine tradition in La Rioja. It is located on a hill surrounded by the River Ebro, at the foot of the Sierra Cantabria and from which we enjoy beautiful views of the Montes Obarenes, the Conchas de Haro and the Riscos de Bilibio. They enjoy a unique microclimate, ideal for growing grapes, caused by the influence of the mountains to the north and the Ebro river to the south.
The Tobelos project was born in the last decade of the 20th century, together with the project our building symbol of modernity was born. The building was built respecting the location of an old oak, which in turn initially gave the name to the winery, thus symbolizing our veneration for nature. The building provides the facilities and spaces necessary to house the latest technical innovations necessary throughout the wine creation process. It also provides the comfort for our customers to enjoy tastings, meals in our restaurant, walks around the environment … and unforgettable experiences.
VINEYARDS
The soils are clayey-calcareous, rich in calcium, which gives the grape a hard skin, resistant to diseases and very rich in polyphenols. We maintain the traceability of the farms from the harvest to the end of the process. Currently the winery has 55 hectares divided into 80 farms, whose peculiarity is that they are very small and unique parcels with vineyards between 30 and 90 years old.
