Baigorri Crianza
The winery is designed to fully respect the integrity and richness of the grapes. Located in the town of Samaniego and under the Sierra de Cantabria is Bodegas BAIGORRI, a glass box perfectly integrated into its surroundings, which emerges in an emblematic place in the Rioja Alavesa. Inside, the winery has the most advanced technology, the result of technical experimentation. It is framed within a process of continuous improvement and develops numerous research projects.
At Baigorri Crianza they seek a balance between fruit and wood, freshness and concentration, elegance and power, a perfect harmony to please all palates. The small contribution of Garnacha variety makes it especially appetizing and silky.
ELABORATION
Baigorri Crianza is made with Tempranillo (90%), Garnacha (5%) grape varieties and small proportions of other native varieties exclusively grown in Rioja Alavesa. After a manual and selective harvest, the destemmed grapes have been selected by hand, grain by grain, using vibration and weight selection tables. Long macerations and intracellular fermentations with native yeasts in frustoconical stainless steel tanks and in oak vats. Natural pumping over and final extraction by gravity. The breeding phase lasts 14 months. In French (90%) and American (10%) oak barrels.
VINEYARDS
